Denning Insurance Law is seeking a Research Clerk to work on a voluntary basis for one (1) to two (2) days per week, for a period of three (3) months.
The role will encompass legal research for new and existing matters, drafting blog posts, presentations and social media posts, general office administration (filing, copying, preparing briefs), Court filing, occasional drafting of legal documents and other tasks, as agreed.
Ideal candidates should:
- be capable of producing clear, well presented and error free work in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- have experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter;
- enjoy writing, research and problem solving; and
- be self-motivated, well-organised and enthusiastic.
Denning Insurance Law is a Doyle’s Guide recognised law firm, led by Accredited Personal Injuries Law Specialist, Kate Denning. The firm provides truly independent insurance and personal injury services to injured individuals, professionals and corporate clients, delivering high value legal services to clients across the areas of public liability, workers’ compensation, professional indemnity, compulsory third party and insurance coverage disputes.
This role is open to law students of all levels undertaking a Bachelor of Laws. While previous experience in a law firm is not essential, it is preferable for candidates to have previously worked in an office environment.
